Reviewing accounting reports with a calculator and financial charts

Accounting and Reporting

We keep your books in line with the legislation and the Turkish Uniform Chart of Accounts, and turn the figures into readable reports at month end. The aim is not merely to file returns, but to show you where your business stands.

  • Summary reports for shareholders and management.

Setting up your accounting system

  • Selection and installation of accounting software for small and medium-sized businesses.
  • Building a chart of accounts specific to your business.

Digital transition

  • Applications for the transition to e-invoicing and e-archive invoicing.
  • Running the e-ledger and e-ledger certification processes.
  • Transition to e-waybill and e-self-employment receipt systems.
  • Monitoring whether you fall within the mandatory scope, and warning you in time.

The monthly routine

Every month runs to the same rhythm; you know from the start what will be asked and when.

  1. 01

    Collecting the documents

At the start of the month we receive the previous month's invoices, bank and cash records. If you use e-invoicing, this step happens on its own.

  2. 02

    Recording and checking

The entries are posted, and anything missing or inconsistent comes back to you as a single list.

  3. 03

    Filing and assessment

The period's returns are prepared and filed, and the assessment slips reach you together with the amounts due.

  4. 04

    Reporting

The trial balance and summary report are shared; if something needs your attention, we say so separately.

Frequently asked

How do I get the documents to you?

If you use e-invoicing, invoices reach us automatically. For paper documents, bank statements and cash records we set up whichever suits you: hand delivery, e-mail or a shared folder.

Is switching from my current accountant difficult?

No. The handover only requires obtaining the books and records from your previous accountant; we manage the process. Switching at the start of a period is cleanest, but mid-year is also possible.

I have my own bookkeeper — can we still work together?

Of course. In that case we clarify the division of work and train your bookkeeper on document flow and record-keeping. Our advisory and training service covers this.

Do I have to move to e-invoicing?

The obligation depends on turnover thresholds and your line of business, and the thresholds are updated from time to time. We check your position and let you know in advance when you come within scope.

How often do I receive reports?

A monthly trial balance and summary report as standard. If you need something for a bank or your shareholders, we prepare interim reports during the period as well.
